Private networking, built for the cloud

Everything you need to isolate, segment, and control traffic across your infrastructure.

Logically isolated

Your VPC is a completely private network, invisible to other tenants, inaccessible from the public internet by default. Resources inside communicate directly without traversing external routes.

Simple to deploy

Create a fully configured VPC in under 30 seconds from the DanaIX console, API, or Terraform provider. Automatic DHCP, DNS resolution, and routing are set up for you with no manual configuration.

Fully customizable

Define custom CIDR blocks, create multiple subnets, and configure stateful firewall rules with fine-grained ingress and egress controls per resource group.

Extendable via peering

Connect VPCs across different DanaIX availability zones with VPC Peering. Resources in peered networks communicate as if they share the same local network — with up to 50 peering connections per account.

Create a VPC in seconds

Three steps from zero to a fully isolated private network with resources running inside it.

Start building

Choose a region and IP range

Attach virtual machines, bare metal nodes, managed databases, load balancers, and Kubernetes clusters to your VPC. All resources communicate over private IPs — no internet exposure unless you explicitly assign a floating IP.

Apply firewall rules

Define stateful security group rules to control which resources can talk to each other and on which ports. Rules are evaluated per-packet in real time. Default deny-all means new resources are private until you explicitly open traffic.

Peer VPCs or connect on-premises

Enable VPC Peering to connect multiple VPCs across zones, or use DanaIX Direct Connect to bridge your on-premises infrastructure with your cloud VPC over a private, dedicated connection.

Frequently asked questions

A VPC is a logically isolated private network within DanaIX's infrastructure. Resources inside your VPC can communicate freely with each other over private IPs, but are invisible to other tenants and inaccessible from the internet by default. You control which resources are publicly accessible and which remain entirely private.

DanaIX VPC is purpose-built for South Korea's regulatory environment. All hardware and network infrastructure is physically located in Korea, ensuring PIPA compliance and FSC data residency requirements without workarounds. You also get direct integration with OpenStack-native tooling and a Korean-language support team.

Virtual machines, bare metal servers, managed databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis), Kubernetes clusters, load balancers, and object storage gateway endpoints can all be placed inside a VPC. This lets you build fully private multi-tier architectures with no public internet exposure unless you choose it.

Yes. DanaIX offers two options: IPsec VPN for encrypted tunnels over the public internet, and DanaIX Direct Connect for a dedicated private fiber connection between your data center and DanaIX facilities in Seoul. Direct Connect provides lower latency and predictable throughput, with no traffic traversing the public internet at all.
